This is a temporary 6-month contracted 1099 position with no benefits.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will support supply operations and logistics across client products. The role involves coordinating activities both within the organization and with external supply partners to ensure delivery of materials and products needed to support business needs.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These may include but are not limited to:
  • Supply operations support for assigned products/suppliers, including receipt of product/materials and coordination across relevant functions within the organization and with external parties (CMOs, warehouses) in execution of such activities and the data management activities (e.g., ERP transactions) associated with such activities
  • Plan and execute shipments of materials including coordination across all relevant parties (internal and external) and execution of related ERP transactions
  • Accurately enter and maintain critical data related to product manufacturing, shipment, inventory status, procurement, release within our ERP system as well as external tools (Excel, Smartsheet, etc). Ensure data integrity and timely updates to reflect real-time supply chain activities
  • Monitor serialization activities to ensure DSCSA requirements are met
  • Assist with shipping studies set up and execution (including study design, execution, protocol/report writing, etc) to validate the safe and compliant transport of temperature-sensitive materials
  • Support supply chain team in processing applicable change controls to ensure that all changes in supply chain processes are evaluated, documented, and implemented in a controlled and compliant manner
  • Generate accurate and compliant reports for internal stakeholders using ERP, internal and external reporting tools

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
  • Process document change controls as needed
  • Support/drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline business processes and implement advanced tools to support Supply Chain management
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Bachelor’s degree in life science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supply chain role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment
    • Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
    • Proven experience with data management 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization

TECHNICAL, EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY
  • Software Knowledge: MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Knowledge of data analysis, reporting, work management software (Smartsheet) is a plus
