Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of the life sciences sector to drive the growth of our consulting, training, and talent acquisition services. The successful candidate must possess a strong track record of success in business development, a thorough knowledge of industry services, and a robust network within the life sciences community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities across consulting, training, and talent acquisition services. Leverage industry expertise to position Medvacon as a preferred partner for life sciences organizations.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with senior-level decision-makers to understand their business challenges and articulate how Medvacon’s services can address their needs. Lead negotiations and secure long-term client relationships.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Create and implement sales plans that align with Medvacon’s strategic goals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client solutions and service delivery.
  • Industry Knowledge & Market Intelligence: Utilize comprehensive knowledge of FDA regulations, quality systems, and compliance requirements to identify market trends and emerging opportunities. Provide insights to influence service offerings and business strategies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Training Sales: Promote and sell Medvacon’s talent acquisition and training programs, including cGMP compliance and customized regulatory training solutions. Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of business development experience in the life sciences sector, specifically in consulting, training, or professional services.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, developing new business relationships, and expanding service offerings.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of life sciences industry standards, including FDA regulations, cGMP compliance, and quality management systems.
  • Network: Established connections within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities with a strategic mindset.
